This is a personal project based on a photo of me and my partner. I used this illustration to invite friends to our celebration (and farewell) before we embark on another journey across the oceans. It symbolizes the changes that accompany us in our travels, the journey itself (the sky and the sea are roads too, right?), and the sense of trust in our partnership where we can put down roots and blossom. The colors also highlight the balance of opposites (complementary): warm and cool, rational and emotional, material and ethereal.
